    Editorial Review

Vietnam Airlines Lotus Lounge 2 serves qualifying international travelers at Tan Son Nhat Terminal 2. Vietnam Airlines business-class and eligible Lotusmiles passengers, along with eligible SkyTeam premium-cabin and Elite Plus travelers, can use the airline's Lotus lounges under the applicable access rules. The entrance is near Gate 18 or 19; stairs or a lift lead down to the lounge on level 2. Check the boarding pass and status rules before relying on access.

Lotus Lounge 2 is smaller than Lotus Lounge 1 but offers armchairs, dining tables and communal work seating in a single room. It can be quieter than the larger room, although occupancy changes with flight banks. The interior includes tiled and wood-toned details, luggage storage and a small computer work area. Power points at work tables and seating areas support a brief work session.

The buffet can include pho, sticky rice, vegetables, other Vietnamese hot dishes, fruit, salad, bread and desserts. Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, tea and coffee are self-serve. The buffet provides variety, although the food and drinks are not consistently a distinguishing feature. The service remains buffet-based rather than a sit-down meal.

There is Wi-Fi, a massage chair, restrooms and a single shower room. Restrooms and the shower have been maintained cleanly on documented visits; the single shower can create a wait. This lounge fits an international passenger seeking a relatively compact space with a meal and a shower, especially when the departure gate is nearby.
