    Lounge Ratings

    Comfort & Ambiance7.0

The domestic CIP facility has a dedicated entrance, check-in and security process separate from the main terminal. Seating, a television area, a small business corner and charging lockers support short pre-flight stays.

    Food & Beverage6.4

The buffet includes pastries, fruit, vegetables, cheese, cereal, mini sandwiches and drinks, with hot börek and soup reported at some times. The selection is functional rather than a destination dining program.

    Amenities & Facilities6.7

Facilities include Wi-Fi, computers, a television area, charging lockers, a prayer room and a children’s area; shower facilities are listed for the lounge. There is no evidence of a spa, sleep rooms or a full bar.

    Cleanliness7.2

    Editorial Review

Turkish Airlines Lounge Ankara is a domestic CIP facility at Esenboğa for eligible Turkish Airlines and Star Alliance premium-cabin passengers and frequent flyers. It operates separately from the main passenger terminal: eligible guests use a dedicated exterior entrance for check-in and security, then board from the lounge via a dedicated bus transfer to the aircraft. This arrangement is useful for originating passengers but does not suit passengers already inside the regular terminal or some transfer itineraries.

The lounge is arranged for a short pre-flight wait, with seating, a television area, a small business corner and charging lockers. Wi-Fi, computers, a prayer room and a children’s area are available; shower facilities are listed. The space does not offer the range of private rest areas, spa facilities or separate quiet rooms found at Turkish Airlines’ major Istanbul lounges.

Catering is buffet-based. Reported items include pastries, fruit, vegetables, cheese, cereal, mini sandwiches, drinks, hot börek and soup. It covers a domestic departure but is a narrower selection than the airline’s larger hub lounges. There is no confirmed full bar or made-to-order dining.

This is best for eligible passengers beginning a Turkish Airlines domestic journey from Ankara who value the separate check-in and security route as much as the lounge itself. It is a solid, functional airline lounge rather than a place to arrive especially early.
