    Editorial Review

The Qatar Airways Premium Lounge is a compact, premium stop for eligible Qatar Airways customers departing Terminal 1’s non-Schengen area. The entrance is on the upper level after the departure formalities, making it most useful for passengers with time before boarding rather than for a quick connection. Its modest scale gives the space a quieter, more composed character than a large shared contract lounge, although capacity can be a constraint at busy flight times.

Seating is arranged around a lounge and dining-room format, with armchairs, tables suitable for a meal, and a staffed bar. The food offer is a principal strength: a plated, restaurant-style menu is complemented by buffet items, with hot choices and drinks beyond the limited snack service typical of many outstation airline lounges. The offering is designed around a proper pre-flight meal, but the exact menu and service pace can vary by departure bank.

Facilities include Wi-Fi, shower rooms and restrooms. There is no evidence of sleeping rooms, a spa, or extensive work facilities, so travelers needing those should not assume they are available. The restrained design and table service support a calm short stay, though it does not have the scale, views, or broad amenity set of Qatar Airways’ flagship Doha lounges.

Access is principally for eligible Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers; eligibility conditions and fare exceptions can change. Overall, this is an excellent outstation premium lounge for dining and a shower before a long-haul flight, with its small footprint setting the main limitation.
