    Lounge Ratings

    Comfort & Ambiance5.5

A compact but modern room combines armchairs, shared tables, window-side seats and bar-height seating. Power outlets are available at seats, although the windows face the terminal service area rather than the runway.

    Food & Beverage4.8

The self-service offering is limited to light snacks and drinks. Non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, tea, beer and local spirits make it suitable for a short wait, not a meal.

    Amenities & Facilities4.8

Wireless internet, a cloak area, phone booths, a smoking room and restrooms are available. Showers, sleeping facilities, meeting rooms and a dedicated dining service are not listed.

    Cleanliness5.7

The lounge has attended restrooms and a maintained contemporary interior. The small footprint can make the space feel busier close to departures.

    Editorial Review

JAL Sakura Lounge is JAL’s standard domestic lounge at Naha Airport, airside in the Domestic Terminal immediately after the south security checkpoint. It is intended for eligible JAL frequent flyers, qualifying JAL passengers and eligible oneworld elite members, rather than general cardholders or pay-in visitors. It operates from 6:10 AM until the final departure.

The main room uses wood panelling, Okinawan art and Japanese-material motifs, with armchairs, window-side seats, shared tables and bar-height seating. Power outlets are available at the seats. The windows look toward the terminal service area rather than the runway, while additional seating away from the windows gives the compact lounge a more enclosed section. Seating may be harder to find during busy departure periods.

Refreshments are limited to light snacks and self-service drinks. The selection includes non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, tea, beer and local spirits, but it is not a substitute for a meal. Wireless internet, a cloak area, phone booths, a smoking room and restrooms support a short work or waiting stop. Showers, sleeping facilities and meeting rooms are not listed.

This is best suited to eligible travelers on domestic departures who want a quieter seat, charging and drinks before boarding. Travelers seeking a substantial meal, runway views or extensive facilities should keep expectations modest.
