    Comfort & Ambiance7.1

A large, well-zoned domestic lounge with roomy sofa seating, personal-space considerations and apron views from some window seats.

    Food & Beverage6.3

All-day light fare includes curry bread, rice balls, soups, snacks, soft drinks and alcohol; it suits a short domestic stop but not a full meal.

Wi-Fi, restrooms, a smoking room, phone booths, cloakroom and massage chairs are available. There are no showers, nap rooms, spa, meeting rooms or children’s area.

    Cleanliness6.8

The modern, orderly layout and separated food and relaxation areas support a solid maintenance assessment, though detailed recent cleanliness reporting is limited.

    Editorial Review

JAL’s Diamond Premier Lounge is the more exclusive of the airline’s two domestic lounges at Osaka Itami, positioned airside in the North Terminal near gate 18. It is a practical choice for eligible passengers who want a calmer pre-flight stop rather than a full dining experience. The lounge is large by domestic-airport standards and separates relaxation seating from a dining-and-drinks area. Sofas are arranged to give passengers personal space and room for hand luggage; window seats can offer apron views.

The all-day spread is intentionally light: curry bread, onigiri, soup, miso soup, snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. This is adequate for a short domestic itinerary, but it is not a substitute for a substantial meal and there is no evidence of made-to-order dining. Facilities include Wi-Fi, restrooms, a smoking room, phone booths, a cloakroom and massage chairs. Showers, nap rooms, a spa, meeting rooms and a children’s area are not available. Charging provision has not been confirmed.

Entry is restricted to qualifying JAL First Class domestic passengers, eligible JMB Diamond and JGC Premier members, and eligible oneworld Emerald members; qualifying members may bring one guest. There is no public day-pass route for this lounge. The dedicated premium security area improves the arrival process for eligible guests. Recent independent visitor evidence describes a spacious, generally uncrowded room with several seating areas and good tarmac views, while also finding the food and drink offering light. Peak-time crowding and the day’s menu can vary, so arrive with modest catering expectations.
